Audit Project

With a First Class Honours Degree in Regional and Town Planning, I spent my career coordinating different stakeholders and managing tight deadlines in the housing development industry. As a wife and mother of two sons, I began looking for a new career that could offer greater opportunities and the chance to build something meaningful for myself and my family.

In September 2025, I made the decision to step outside my comfort zone and join Prudential as a Wealth Planner through the PRUVenture Programme. The opportunity to receive bridging income alongside commissions gave me the confidence to begin this new chapter while building my business.

The most valuable lesson I have learned is that actions speak louder than words. Success requires more than good intentions—it requires consistent action, discipline and a willingness to learn.

Through PRUVenture, I have become more motivated and focused on developing the right daily habits. I also value the opportunity to learn from others who are on the same journey.

Whether you are changing careers or starting fresh, your future can begin with one brave step.

With two years of experience in the insurance industry, I have learned that success is not simply about having the right knowledge—it is about building the right habits and taking consistent action. One of my biggest challenges was opening new cases and maintaining a steady pipeline for my business. I knew that if I wanted to grow, I needed to become more disciplined and consistent.

In October 2025, I joined the PRUVenture Programme because the bridging income gave me additional financial support while I focused on building my career. More importantly, the programme gave me a clear structure and encouraged me to stay committed to the activities that drive results.

My biggest transformation has been learning to create consistent habits and take action every day. I now believe that small, disciplined actions can eventually lead to meaningful results.

For newcomers who are serious about succeeding in this industry, PRUVenture can be a great place to start your journey and build a stronger foundation for the future.

After nearly nine years with Great Eastern, making the decision to join Prudential was not easy. With 10 years in the insurance industry, I had built my experience and client base, but starting over in a new environment while managing my financial commitments and supporting my wife and two sons was a challenge I had to face.

Joining the PRUVenture programme gave me more than bridging income. It gave me breathing room to rebuild my business, regain confidence and focus on my future without feeling like I had to start from nothing.

Through PV, I learned that success is not just about experience, but also about discipline, consistency and taking the right actions every day. My hard work paid off when I qualified for Starclub and the Guangzhou and Chongqing incentive trip in 2025.

Sometimes, moving forward means having the courage to start again. With the right support and commitment, a new beginning can become your next breakthrough.

Never be afraid to start over. If you dare to step out of your comfort zone and stay committed, your next chapter could be your greatest breakthrough.

I spent over four years helping a leader build success, but one question kept coming to mind: When would I start building a future of my own? With a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Accounting, I wanted more than a fixed salary and a 9-to-5 routine. I wanted financial freedom, greater flexibility, and the opportunity to determine my own earning potential.

In August 2025, I stepped out of my comfort zone and became a Prudential Wealth Planner through the PRUVenture programme. The bridging income, structured training, and quarterly catch-up system gave me the confidence to explore a new career without feeling like I had to figure everything out alone.

What attracted me to YEG was not just the opportunity to grow my career, but also the supportive team and the vision I could see for my future. Through the PRUVenture programme, I discovered the importance of structured planning, focus and consistency in achieving my goals.

My biggest transformation has been learning self-discipline, staying consistent, and focusing on daily activities rather than chasing immediate results. I’ve also learned to trust the process and embrace challenges as opportunities to grow.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need the courage to start building the future you deserve.

With nine years of experience in the insurance industry, I never imagined I would need to start from zero again. But sometimes, the courage to begin again is what opens the door to greater opportunities.

As a wife and mother of four, building a better future for my family has always been one of my biggest motivations. Previously an insurance agent with AIA, I decided to take a bold step into a new chapter with Prudential as a Wealth Planner.

What attracted me to YEG was not just the opportunity to grow my career, but also the supportive team and the vision I could see for my future. Through the PRUVenture programme, I discovered the importance of structured planning, focus and consistency in achieving my goals.

I believe this journey will help me unlock my potential and reach a higher level in my career.

Never be afraid to start over. If you dare to step out of your comfort zone and stay committed, your next chapter could be your greatest breakthrough.

Redesigning My Career, Redefining My Future

My journey began as a designer, but I knew I wanted more flexibility, greater growth opportunities and the ability to build my own business. In April 2022, I took a bold step into the insurance industry as a Prudential Wealth Planner. It was more than a career change; it was a decision to invest in myself and challenge my own limits.

Through the PRUVenture programme, I developed stronger client approach, follow-up and closing skills. More importantly, I expanded my professional network, connecting with more business owners and entrepreneurs and opening doors to new business opportunities.

Today, I see KPIs differently. They are not just targets, but action steps that keep me focused and accountable. Your background doesn’t limit your future. When you dare to start again and commit to growth, you give yourself the chance to build a career beyond your imagination.

With 18 years of experience in the financial industry, I thought I already understood what it takes to build a successful career. But as a husband and father of two, I know that success is not just about achieving sales targets — it’s about building a sustainable business that can support my family’s future.

When I joined Prudential and the PRUVenture programme in June 2025, I wanted to take my career to the next level. The transition came with challenges, especially in maintaining consistent sales while developing a stronger team.

PV gave me more than bridging income. The structured training, technical guidance and proven systems helped me adapt faster, stay disciplined and focus on consistent daily actions. Qualifying for the Chongqing incentive trip was a meaningful milestone along the way.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight. If you’re willing to learn, stay consistent and never give up, the right support can help you turn your ambitions into achievements.

As a husband supporting three children and my parents, financial pressure was one of my biggest challenges — my expenses were consistently higher than my income during my time in project management. I knew I needed a career change that could provide both stability and long-term growth.

The PRU Venture Program gave me that opportunity through bridging income support, which helped ease my financial burden while I rebuilt my career.

What impacted me the most was learning from successful advisors through real case studies and sharing sessions, which gave me clarity and direction.

The program trained me to build discipline, consistency, and strong work habits, allowing me to grow steadily in this industry.

I believe PV is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it is especially suitable for working professionals seeking a career breakthrough or life transformation.
